In 2011 Balet Bratislava will premiere two dance productions – Romeo and Juliet and Slovak Choreographers Night. We plan to cooperate with leading creators such as Jiří Kylián, an exceptional choreographer, who has influenced numerous artists and has had a major influence on the evolution of choreography in the European context of the past twenty years, Nacho Duato, the fomer director of twenty years of Spain’s leading dance company Compañía Nacional de Danza, Ohad Naharin, a brilliant choreographer from Israel, as well as Mats Ek, James Kudelka, Petr Zuska, Libor Vaculík, Crystal Pite, Azour Barton. We would like to cooperate with young and talented artists like Alexander Ekman from Sweden, Francesco Nappa from Italy, Lukáš Timulák, a Slovak dancer and choreographer based in the Netherlands, Šárka Ondrišová and others.
